The management and staff at the Merrion are committed to making your holiday as safe and enjoyable as possible during the current crisis, the measures you see below are a result of our Covid 19 Risk Assessment drawn up using the latest advice from the following organisations

• Public Health Wales
• UK Hospitality
• World Health Organisation.

Public Spaces

Hand sanitising stations are positioned throughout the hotel,  public spaces will be cleaned on a regular basis throughout the day using a disinfectant effective against Covid 19, screens have been installed in Reception and Bar areas, our ground floor public toilets will not be accessible to non-residents and will be cleaned and inspected on a regular basis.

Lounge furniture has been reduced and spaced out to allow for social distancing, 

Due to health regulations all live entertainment has been suspended until further notice.

Bedrooms

We already have great cleaning standards in our rooms, these have now been enhanced even further. All rooms will be sanitised each day using a disinfectant suitable for the prevention of Covid19. Hand sanitiser will be in place in each room.

Passenger Lifts

Hand sanitising gel dispensers are positioned next to the lift doors on each level, call buttons and lift buttons will be sanitised regularly, guests will be encouraged to use the stairs where possible and to limit the occupancy of the lift.

Restaurant

Areas will be sanitised after each sitting.

Tables will be spaced for social distancing, all breakfast buffet service has been suspended, all items of breakfast will be served at the table by a member of the restaurant team.

In the evening guests will be encouraged to make a reservation time in the restaurant to avoid queuing, tables will be socially distanced.

Bar areas and Lounge areas

Table service will be in operation in the bar lounge area and front of the hotel to avoid any queuing.
